The 2015 ICC World Cup only saw one match today with Bangladesh and Scotland going against each other. Bangladesh secured a win and now sits fourth in the Pool A standings of ICC World Cup Points Table. Here is the points table as on March 5,2015
A solid win against Scotland helped Bangladesh to keep their quarter final hopes alive. All the teams in Pool A have played four matches so far and New Zealand is currently leading with eight points. Sri Lanka is closely behind with six points while Australia and Bangladesh are tied at five points each.
England and Afghanistan has two points to their name. Scotland meanwhile is yet to make a mark in the tournament.
There was no change in Pool B today since the group had no matches. India is still leading the group with six points from three matches. The reigning champions will face off against West Indies on March 6, 2015 in a much awaited clash.
West Indies is currently sitting at third in the Pool B standings of ICC World Cup Points Table with four points from four matches. A win for West Indies would move them closer to a quarter final spot whereas a win for India will guarantee them a quarter final spot.
