The Indian marksmen had another dismal day at the ISSF World Cup Shotgun held at Al Ain (UAE). In the men’s double trap competition, Sangram Dahiya was the best placed Indian at 30th.

Sangram Dahiya scored a total of 132 points to be ranked 30th in the men’s double trap event. Former National Championship silver medallist scored 27, 25, 26, 29, 25 hits in the qualification round. With 131 points each, Sangram Dahiya was closely followed by Commonwealth Games bronze medallist Asab Mohammed at the 32nd position and Ankur Mittal at 33rd.
Russia’s Vasily Mosin took the brightest medal and an Olympic quota, with 26 hits against Italian Marco Innocenti’s 25. The bronze medal went to the Italian camp too, with Davide Gasparini getting the better of American marksman Derek Haldeman.
