Indian national football team coach Stephen Constantine today announced the preliminary squad of 38 probables for the 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers. Placed along with Iran, Oman, Guam and Turkmenistan in Group D, the Indian team will battle it out from June 11, 2015 till March 29, 2016 in a bid to proceed to Russia.
The Blue brigade will start practice on June 4 in Bangalore, and face Oman, ranked 97, on the 11th at the Kanteerava Stadium. They will further face 175th ranked Guam on June 16th.
The results in the ongoing I- League tournament will lead to the list being snipped down to form a line up of 26 players.
