The 2015 edition of IPL has almost reached its conclusion. The group stage matches of the tournament were entertaining to the core and the points table shaped up in an interesting manner. With the grand finale just around the corner, it would be the right time to take a look at the final IPL 2015 points table.
Chennai Super Kings remain consistent
Chennai Super Kings lived up to their reputation of being consistent and finished at the top of the 2015 IPL points table. The team won nine matches out of their fourteen group matches, and ended their campaign with 18 points. Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Rajasthan Royals finished with 16 points each. Mumbai, however, secured the second place thanks to their superior net run rate.
Bangalore and Rajasthan had seven wins each from their fourteen matches while Mumbai won eight. All four teams made it into the playoffs as well.

Kolkata Knight Riders just missed out on the playoffs as they only managed 15 points from their 14 matches. They won seven matches and lost six while one match ended with no result. Sunrisers Hyderabad and Delhi Daredevils ended their campaign in sixth and seventh respectively.
Kings XI Punjab on the other hand had a forgettable run in the tournament and could only manage three wins from their 14 games.
