In this edition of Sports tweets of the week, we have Tweets from different sporting events that took place throughout this week. The past week witnessed unending sporting action across different disciplines. The only Test between Bangladesh and India was largely affected by rain and thus ended in a draw. Australia held the upper hand in their 2nd Test against West Indies and sealed the series 2-0. England has fought fire with fire in the 50-over format as their two ODIs against New Zealand have seen scores of 408, 198, 398 and 365.

Chasing 399 for victory, England skipper Eoin Morgan blasted a quickfire 88 from 47 balls to brighten his team’s hopes of chasing down a mammoth 398 set by New Zealand in the 2nd ODI on Friday. Sadly, Morgan’s effort was not sufficient for victory as England fell short by just 13 runs. Alex Hales, who scored a fifty in the same match, had words of praise for his skipper.
