In the second season of Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) we have seen some brilliant moves by raiders and many a players making a huge impression. Here are the top 5 raiders so far in this season’s pro Kabaddi League:
1) Kashilinge Adake
Kashiling Adake is the best raider in this season so far. Together with the young and exuberant Rohit Chaudhary, he has pulled the Dabangs single handedly out of dormancy. In Surjeet Narwal’s absence, carrying forward the same enthusiasm, he seemed to be in a different league in all the 8 matches he has played so far and while the 50 successful raid points in this season might just be a mere statistic, it’s testament nevertheless to his tenacity and dexterous presence on court. Kashi makes six successful raids per match.
Kashi is also famous for his athletic jump, which has helped him collect a lot of points. (Hanuman Jump!) Hailing from a small village in Maharashtra, Kashi recalls how massive and gregarious the pro Kabaddi League has been and how performing here means to him:
“It’s been a great learning curve for all of us; never thought this could have happened to the game in our country. The team officials picked me up from an India camp last year and there hasn’t been any looking back since.”
2. Anup Kumar:
There are good players and then there are those special individuals who are capable of lifting their game ten notches higher when it matters the most.

His vigorous sideways movement and early anticipation of holds makes him an elusive threat, and puts him second on the list of the players who tallied the most raid points. He has featured in 8 games so far. He went for 114 raids and has 44 raid points to his name.
Asked about how he feels about filling in Surjeet’s shoes, he said,
“It’s obviously a big task, but I am trying my best. He is an absolute legend; to just be in the same team as him is an honor. As and when he returns though, I am sure the three of us (including Kashi) will do really well. We can be a threat to any defense and if we click together, it would be really difficult to beat us.”
4) Rahul Chaudhari:
Another great talent, Rahul Chaudhari has been a key cog in the Telugu Titans’ wheel since last year.
