Steady Start:

Though they started with a steady score, as the match progressed, Deepika and Champia were unable to match the performance of the London Olympics silver medallists.

The Indian pair needed to win the third end to keep hopes alive. However, they failed to do so, scoring just 36 as compared to the Mexican duo’s 37.
