Sardara Singh Is India’a Flagbearer At Asian Games

Sardara Singh, captain of the Indian Men’s Hockey Team, has been named the flagbearer for the Indian contingent for the opening ceremony of the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon, South Korea. The event is scheduled to be held on Friday.

The 29 year old skipper was also part of the Asian Games torch relay in India in Delhi at the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium. Sardara will represent the Indian hockey team for the second time at the Asian Games and this comes as a well deserved recognition for him.
