Indian Wrestling talent Ravi Kumar won a silver medal (55 kg freestyle) at a recently concluded World Junior Wrestling tournament for held in Brazil.
Ravi Kumar started off in a spectacular fashion by making a comeback despite trailing by 2-8 to win his opening round match comfortably. He was to repeat the feat by coming back from a similar deficit in the semi final. However this spell of wins by Ravi Kumar was cut-short by Azerbaijan’s Mahir Amiraslanov, who comprehensively defeated the Indian in the final bout to win the gold.
