Indian golfers Jeev Milkha Singh, SSP Chawrasia and Shiv Kapur had a forgettable time at the Alfred Dunhill Golf Championship as they failed to break into the top 100.
Shiv Kapur finished highest from the lot when he ended the campaign tied for 111th. He had a first round of 75 followed by a 70 in Second and Third round. Jeev Milkha Singh found himself at the bottom of the standings when he finished tied for 163. Jeev had a total of 226 split into rounds of 77, 76 and 73.
SSP Chawrasia finished 165th in the tournament when he had a total of 227. The Indians started off the campaign on the wrong foot and never managed to recover from the same. It was a disappointing outing, one which all three golfers will be looking to bounce back from.
Jyoti Randhawa Stands Out at Alfred Dunhill Golf
Jyoti Randhawa, meanwhile had a solid performance and finished tied for 43rd. He had score of 281 from four rounds. Randhawa started off with 70 in the first round and followed it up with 68, 71 and 71 in the remaining rounds.
While Indians had a disappointing time in the tournament, the title went to Thorbjorn Olesen of Denmark. Brooks Koepka of United States came in second along with Chris Stroud. Kiradech Aphibarnrat of Thailand finished third in the tournament when Benjamin Herbert of France finished fourth.
