The Indian Football Team suffered yet another defeat in the FIFA World Cup Qualifier as they went down 3-0 against Oman.
This was India’s fifth straight defeat in the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers and the team is currently sitting at the bottom of Group D. India made some big changes for the match but was seen struggling from the start itself. Oman kept pushing throughout the first half of the game and the Indian players were struggling to find a way out of their own half.
Oman came close on several times during the first half but failed to convert their chances into goals. The sole chance for India came in the 40th minute when Sunil Chhetri had a shot at Goal. But the effort was tipped over by Ali Al-Habsi in the Oman goal.
