FC Goa managed to edge out Delhi Dynamos 3-2 in the Indian Super League to finish on top of the table.
Goa had to construct a patient and thrilling comeback for the win after Delhi Dynamos took a 2-0 leads in the first half. The attacking
movements of Delhi were spot on thanks to the likes of Robin Singh and Adil Nabi. The first goal for Delhi came courtesy of Serginho Greene.
He headed home a corner from Florent Malouda. The second goal for Delhi came in just minutes later through Nabi.
The game shifted in Goa’s favour in the second half. The first goal for the team came courtesy of Romeo Fernandes. He then tapped in across from Reinaldo just minutes later to make the score 2-2. Both teams were searching for a goal afterwards. With just seconds to go on the clock, Goa slotted home the third goal to win the match. Jofre was the scorer and it helped Goa to finish on top of the ISL
The teams will be facing off against eachother in the semi-finals as well and it would be interesting to see how Delhi would bounce back to
