PV Sindhu continues good form
India’s PV Sindhu has continued her unbeaten run that she started off with this year at the Premier Badminton League (PBL) and now the Malaysia Masters. The match between Sindhu and Kirsty Gilmour was more of a one-sided dominance from the Indian.
In the first game, Sindhu dominated well picking points consistently leaving no way for the Scot to counter and try shifting the momentum of the game. The game ended 21-15 in favour of Sindhu. The second game played out far more comfortable for the Indian as Gilmour failed to repeat her semi-final heroics that helped her book a spot in the final. Sindhu upped her gears after reaching 5 each in the second game and there was no looking back anymore. Gilmour managed to win only four points after that and Sindhu was crowned the champion in Malaysia. The match ended 21-15, 21-9 in favour of the Indian.
