The Micromax Indian Aces were crowned champions of the inaugural Coca-Cola International Premier Tennis League (IPTL) after an interesting last match at Hamdan Sports Complex in Dubai. The concluding match of the IPTL Dubai leg saw the Aces lose to 15-29 to the UAE Royals, who were playing on their home turf.

Zimonjic was joined by compatriot Novak Djokovic and later on by former Wimbledon winner Goran Ivanisevic in a set that witnessed fascinating volleys and intelligent rallies from both pairs. The Royals won the set 6-2.
